Set in the Black Mountains on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Ancestral home of the Cecil family with many original features. The ground floor areas have recently been comprehensively yet sympathetically renovated following flooding in 2008, and all the hotel's 21 en suite guest rooms (including a Jacobean panelled four poster suite) have also been or are in the process of being renovated. Directions

From Hereford or Abergavenny, follow A465 to Pandy, 13 miles south of Hereford and 5 miles north of Abergavenny. Take the turn-off to the west at the Old Pandy Inn road junction. After 400 yards, turn right down the lane at the greygreen barn. Allt Yr Ynys is 400 yards down the lane on the right.
